This DTS track is for those who feel called to go where few have gone before and leave a legacy for others to follow. Discover how to engage with unreached people groups and launch into accomplishing the unfinished task of missions.
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” - Matthew 28:19-20 (NIV)
Today, there are thousands of people groups in the world who still have few or no followers of Jesus Christ. These people groups are what we refer to as unreached and unengaged. Despite the advancements of our age, they remain unreached because they live in places that are geographically remote, politically restrained, culturally isolated, or otherwise separated from receiving the message of the gospel. Among them, Christ remains unknown, unacknowledged, and unadored.
On this DTS track, we aim to approach this issue by engaging in God's heart for all peoples and launching into prayer and mission work that is clear and culturally relevant. We believe that God loves and longs to be in relationship with every person from every culture. It is our goal to be gripped by this love and to discover and apply God's strategies to go to new places and do new things in new ways.
It is declared in Psalm 22:27 that "all the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the Lord, and all the families of the nations will worship before Him." The Bible describes people from every nation, every tribe, and every tongue worshiping God around His throne. Does your heart long to see this become a reality? Come join us!
Additional note: At YWAM Bethlehem we feel called to equip people to go long-term to engage with unreached people groups. That's why we're also running a second level school called "School of Frontier Missions" that is for anyone who has already done a DTS. Find out more here.
